Our story
Koko Place was born out of a simple frustration: finding authentic Afro-Caribbean groceries in the UK should not require a trip to the other side of town - or, worse, a trip back home.
We are based in Newbury, Berkshire, and we started by stocking the products that our own community kept asking for: proper egusi, kpomo, frozen tilapia, suya spice, scotch bonnets, cassava flour, and the hundred other things that make a house feel like home.
Today we deliver across the UK, stocking hundreds of products from West Africa, East Africa, the Caribbean, and Southern Africa. Whether you are cooking jollof rice for twenty or just missing the taste of home, Koko Place is here.
